According to Florida Law:

LEWD OR LASCIVIOUS MOLESTATION. –

(a) A person who intentionally touches in a lewd or lascivious manner the breasts, genitals, genital area, or buttocks, or the clothing covering them, of a person less than 16 years of age, or forces or entices a person under 16 years of age to so touch the perpetrator, commits lewd or lascivious molestation.

2. An offender 18 years of age or older who commits lewd or lascivious molestation against a victim 12 years of age or older but less than 16 years of age commits a felony of the second degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084.

This would only happen if your friend, her parents or child protective services decided to press criminal charges.

I’m not sure about Florida but in the UK it would be illegal and he’d almost certainly go to jail.

But once he hits 18 it’s goign to be a completely different problem .
And getting preggy at 13 is awful you are fully develpoed yet to actually give birth .

yes. she has to be at least 16. he probably will get in trouble, unless her parents don’t press charges. and it’s not like they won’t have evidence, because they can do a paternity test on the baby.

although there’s a 4 year difference I don’t think this is anything illegal because they are both under 18. this is however terribly disturbing, 13 year olds shouldn’t be having sex. coarse 17 year olds shouldn’t be either…

Well for starters that’s wrong and disgusting. Now to the question, if the age of consent is 16 where you live then yes he can get put in prison because she can not consent but he can by law, however if the age of consent is 18 then no he can’t go to jail. Hope this helps.

Well they’re both underage so that’s a problem, but since the guy is older and the girl is so young, the guy would probably in the worst position.

no i dont think so their both still a minors. he would get in trouble if he was 18 years old cause he would be considered as an adult. The age of consent is 16 in Florida.

It depends on what the age of consent is in florida.But even if it is legal what he’s morally wrong to take advantage of a girl so young.Even though it’s only four years it’s still a big age difference in your teens.Anyway go to wikipedia.org and look up age of consent in your state.
